 THE “GREEN SCHOOL” PROGRAMME

      Our programme gives children a chance to have a hands-on experience of what they are taught at school, to develop their cognitive activity, to get to know the tourist assets of Poland. Additionally, it promotes active forms of spending free time, shapes a culture of tourism and helps to stay fit and healthy.

In its didactic activity, the “Green School Programme” promotes good attitude and values of pupils with regard to themselves, each other, society and last but not least – to the natural world and culture.

A TRIP OFFER TO KRAKOW AND ZAKOPANE

 

Itinerary:

Day 1:
• Arrival in Krakow
• Accommodation
• Dinner
• Sightseeing of the Royal Castle of Wawel + a guided tour of the Old Town (UNESCO)
• Supper

Day 2:
• Breakfast in the hostel
• Departure for Zakopane – a visit to Kasprowicz’s museum in Harenda
• A walk in the Krupówki
• Going up Gubałówka in the Gubałówka Hill Funicular*
• A visit to the Pęksowy Brzyzek cemetery and the Sanctuary of Krzeptówki
• A transfer to the guesthouse “Pokoje u Tylki” in Gliczarów Górny
• Dinner in the guesthouse

Day 3
• Breakfast in the guesthouse + packed lunch
• A guided trip (natural workshops): Brzeziny – Gęsia Szyja – Rusinowa Polana
• Dinner in the guesthouse
• Bonfire in Gliczarów Górny by the guesthouse

Day 4
• Breakfast in the guesthouse + packed lunch
• A guided trip: going in a cable car up Kasprowy Wierch – walking down to Kuźnice through Gąsienicowa Valley and past the mountain hostel of Murowaniec.
• A return to the guesthouse and dinner
• A trip to the hot springs in Szaflary*

Day 5
• Transfer to Dębno Podchalańskie, a visit to the wooden church of Archangel Michael (UNESCO)
• A tour of the castle in Niedzica
• A canoeing rally down the Dunajec river + dinner in Szczawnica*
• Return
 

Price of the 5-day trip
Option 1: price per person (no transport) – 414.00 PLN
Option 2: price per person (no transport, no attractions marked with asterisk*) – 314.00 PLN
We can also organize transport by coach.

Price includes: accommodation, food (breakfasts and dinners at the guesthouse and packed lunches), admission fees to museums and the Tatra National Park, thermal pools, the Dunajec canoeing rally, guide service, bonfire with sausages.

 

It is possible to make changes and adjustments to the programme upon request. We are also open to any of your suggestions how to make this trip an even better experience.
